Congressman Byron Donalds, representing Florida’s 19th district since 2021, has been vocal on social media regarding various international financial allocations and a significant diplomatic achievement. The congressman, who has previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, shared his views through a series of tweets dated March 20, 2025.

Later that day, Congressman Donalds celebrated the release of George Glezmann from Taliban captivity. In his tweet at 19:33 UTC, he expressed gratitude towards the Trump administration's efforts by stating that thanks to their hard work and mediation efforts "he is now free." He concluded with a welcoming note saying "WELCOME HOME GEORGE ."
