Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida's 19th district, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting financial allocations for various international initiatives. The tweets were posted on March 20, 2025, and they compare funding amounts directed towards different causes.

In one tweet, "ROUND 1 MATCHUP: $1.5M for advancing DEI in Serbia’s workplaces v. $1M to Hamas-linked charity in Gaza", Congressman Donalds contrasts the funding allocated to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in Serbian workplaces with money sent to a charity linked to Hamas in Gaza.

Another tweet by Congressman Donalds highlights spending on accommodation for migrants in New York City against environmental education efforts in Vietnam. On March 20, he tweeted: "ROUND 1 MATCHUP: $59M on luxury hotels in NY to house illegal aliens v. $11M to tell the Vietnamese to stop burning trash".

A third tweet compares cultural and environmental funding initiatives between Colombia and Brazil. On the same day, he posted: "ROUND 1 MATCHUP: $47K for a transgender opera in Colombia v. $3M for girls-centered climate action in Brazil".
