Congressman Byron Donalds has been actively communicating with the public on issues concerning his constituency and legislative efforts through social media. Donalds represents Florida’s 19th district in the United States Congress and has served since succeeding Francis Rooney in 2021. His recent social media posts highlight engagement with community organizations, legislative updates, and local events.

On April 10, 2025, Congressman Donalds acknowledged the participation of "Voices of Organic Black Men" in discussions held in Washington, D.C. "Thank you to the members of 'Voices of Organic Black Men' who joined us in our nation's capital. Together, we discussed issues facing Black America, financial empowerment, and community leadership."

Later that day, Donalds celebrated the passage of H.R. 22, known as "The SAVE Act," emphasizing its role in election integrity. He stated, "JUST NOW: The House has PASSED H.R. 22 'The SAVE Act' to safeguard our federal elections. If you are not a US citizen, then you SHOULD NOT be voting in US elections. It's that simple. I'm proud to have championed and co-sponsored 'The SAVE Act' last Congress and this Congress."

On April 11, 2025, Donalds informed constituents in Southwest Florida about an upcoming Town Hall event. He invited verified voters from Florida's 19th Congressional District to participate, stating, "ATTENTION SOUTHWEST FLORIDA On Monday, APRIL 21, my office will be hosting an in-person Town Hall event in Estero, FL. Pre-registration tickets are available exclusively for verified, voting constituents of Florida's 19th Congressional District HERE."

Byron Donalds has been serving Florida’s 19th district since his election to Congress. Before Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn, in 1978, Donalds pursued higher education at Florida A&M University and Florida State University, earning a BS degree from each institution.
