Byron Donalds, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 19th district since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent tweets address topics ranging from immigration and crime to international conflict and regulatory leadership.

On November 20, 2024, Congressman Donalds expressed criticism of the Biden-Harris administration's border policies. He claimed that "Biden-Harris opened our border" and linked this to an incident involving Jose Ibarra, who allegedly entered the country illegally and was involved in the murder of Laken Riley in Athens, Georgia. He stated that "Democrats failed Laken AT EVERY LEVEL."

The following day, on November 21, 2024, Donalds commented on a historical tragedy affecting the Jewish community. He described an event on October 7 as "the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust", attributing responsibility to Hamas for committing crimes against Israelis. He criticized an International Criminal Court ruling as "SHAMEFUL," defending Israel's response under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Later on November 21, Donalds addressed the end of Gary Gensler's tenure at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In his tweet, he accused Gensler of misconduct during his time at the SEC: "Gary Gensler weaponized @SECGov." Donalds expressed optimism about future economic opportunities with Gensler's departure.
