“President Biden and Congressional Democrats’ failure to act on our nation’s debt limit in the last congress created a mounting catastrophe for our fiscal health, and Republicans took a significant step in the right direction to avert a default on our debt, rein in the out-of-control spending, and recalibrate the budget to pre-COVID levels. This critical and common-sense solution will Limit the reckless and inflation-inducing progressive spending that is crippling our economy, Save money in the American people’s pockets, and Grow the economy to provide much-needed relief to those struggling under Biden’s price hike on America. 

“Republicans remain committed to enacting practical and economically sound solutions to our nation’s bleak fiscal health, and passage of this bill goes a long way to ensuring We The People live in a country that works for them, not special interests and radical progressive wish list antics. Republicans did our job. Now it’s time for Senate Majority Leader Schumer and President Biden to take action and avoid the cataclysmic impact of a default on our debt.”
