Grand Opening Heritage Bay Government Services Center on Thursday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m.

Collier County will host a Grand Opening for the Heritage Bay Government Services Center at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4. The new facility is located at 15450 Collier Boulevard, Naples. All are welcome to attend the event and take a tour of the facility following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Heritage Bay offers a one-stop location for government services from several offices including the Tax Collector, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, and the Growth Management Community Development Department. A variety of services are available under one roof including building permits, veteran services, early voting during elections, utility payments, driver licenses, marriage licenses, property and business tax payments, homestead exemptions, property assessment information and much more. In addition, there is a meeting space available for public meetings.

“It is great to celebrate the opening of the Heritage Bay Government Services Center. Our goal is to bring the services closer to those using the services. With the incredible growth in this area, we hope this center will save travel time and costs for our customers. Co-location with other Constitutional offices has proven to serve the public better, and the inclusion of the community meeting space will enable us to provide education on Clerk’s services. I want to thank the Tax Collector and County staff for working on this project,” said Crystal K. Kinzel, Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller.

Collier County Property Appraiser Abe Skinner said, “We are happy to have this new facility to enable us to better serve the public.”

Construction on the 22,780-square-foot facility was completed ahead of schedule and under the $11,700,000 budget through a successful project management partnership of the Collier County Tax Collector’s office and Collier County Facilities Management. Kaufman Lynn Construction served as the construction manager for the project and Stantec was the architect and led the design team.

“We’re delighted to officially welcome the community to Heritage Bay Government Services Center,” said Facilities Director and Interim Deputy County Manager Ed Finn. “The facility was designed to provide efficient, convenient service to the residents of Collier County.”

Heritage Bay Government Services Center is located at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard. It is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Two or more members of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) may be present and participate at  this meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future BCC meeting. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or other reasonable accommodations to participate in this proceeding, should contact the Collier County Facilities Management Division, located at 3335 Tamiami Trail E., Suite 101, Naples, Florida 34112, or (239) 252-8380, as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
