Chamber Conversation
Topic: Early Childhood Education
Having access to high-quality early learning benefits our children, our workforce and our community. Learn how during our virtual Chamber Conversation on February 2 at 3:00pm while we discuss the importance of early learning, the challenges centers face and how employers can support their employees with families. Hear from leaders in early learning education and why the Greater Naples Chamber has slated early learning as a top priority on our legislative agenda for 2022.
Our speakers, including Vance Aloupis, member of the Florida House of Representatives 115th House district and CEO of Children’s Movement of Florida, will be sharing an overview of the importance of early learning to our current and future workforce. Susan Block, CEO of the Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida, will be moderating a panel with Heather Singleton, Executive Director of Child’s Path, Jessica Campbell, Executive Director of Fun Time Academy, and Dawn Montecalvo, CEO of Guadalupe Center on the challenges our centers are facing with long waitlist and limited workforce. Madeleine Thakur, President of The Children’s Movement of Florida, will discuss the Bosses for Babies initiative and how employers can help advocate and support their employees.
A special thank you to our event sponsor, Champions For Learning.
