Collier County recently issued the following announcement.
Collier Television, a service of the Collier County Board of County Commissioners, is now available on Amazon's Firestick and Fire TV, Roku devices and Roku televisions, and
Apple TV devices. The app features the live stream of Collier Television, previous public meetings, original programs, and Podcasts. Search the keyword 'Collier', on any of the
listed devices and then download the app free of charge.
"We are always evaluating changes in technology that will allow us to better serve the public," said Manager of Television Operations, Troy Miller. "As more and more people cut
the cord and switch to streaming devices, we are pleased to provide them with access to Collier Television through their devices."
The app features 'on demand' content separated into categories, and a search feature is also available. In addition, public meeting videos are closed captioned to serve our deaf
and hard-of-hearing residents.
Collier Television continues to be available through local television providers and on the Collier County Government website at www.colliercountyfl.gov/ctv.
