In another post on the same day, Donalds addressed concerns about the lengthy approval process for state wildlife protection plans. He noted: "Currently, it's taking 18+ MONTHS to approve basic state wildlife protection plans to ensure non-game species do not become threatened or endangered. This is unacceptable & this is why I proposed HR 1676 – The Make SWAPS Efficient Act, to expedite this timeline to just 180 days."
Additionally, Donalds acknowledged support from colleagues and organizations for his legislative efforts aimed at improving wildlife conservation processes.
