In total, 53 IHS Beta Club members traveled to Orlando this year, where senior Yuridia Calihua Panzo presided over the convention and presented a keynote speech. In addition to the awards mentioned above, Isaiah Casillas, Genesis Turrubiartez, and Naomie Sylvestre were named "Premier Performers," Yuridia Calihua Panzo received a Florida Senior Beta Scholarship, and Lexie Reyes was elected Florida's Beta Secretary.

The team also brought home two very special awards. First, the G.O.L.D. Key Award for Growth was presented to IHS for increasing its member attendance by 10% compared to the previous year. Next, the team received the "I'll Be There for You" award, which was created this year in honor of Florida State Beta President, Tyler Erickson, who passed away earlier this school year. The award recognizes how school Beta Clubs are there for others through action and service on campus, in the local community, or globally.

Finally, we thank the team's sponsors - Linda Ayer, Eliud Trejo, and Adriana Villanueva - who were each recognized with a John W. Harris Educators of Excellence award.

Congratulations to all involved!
