Everglades City will be hosting a FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) that will open to help residents of Everglades City and Collier County whose homes or personal property were impacted by Hurricane Ian. The Center will be staffed with FEMA personnel and representatives of other federal and state agencies to assist with registration and answer questions about disaster assistance programs.

In addition to visiting a mobile center, you can apply by going online to www.disasterassistance.gov, using the FEMA mobile app or calling 800-621-3362. Help is available in most languages. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA the number for that service.
FEMA Individual Assistance can help with temporary lodging expenses, basic home repairs and other essential disaster-related needs.
