NCH Healthcare System issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
As the number of COVID hospitalizations continue to decrease at NCH, we will once again be allowing the family members and loved ones of our patients to visit with them at either of our two hospitals from the hours of 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. daily in our general care and critical care areas.
We are allowing two visitors per patient in general care areas and one (1) visitor per patient in critical care. Virtual visitation is still preferred for our COVID units, but exceptions for COVID patient visitation will be made on a case by case basis.
Visitors are required to wear a hospital supplied face mask for the entire time on campus and during patient visitation. Visitors are encouraged to limit their visit to the patient’s room and refrain from stopping in other departments. The cafeteria is available to visitors in need of a meal or snack where dining restrictions will apply.
