COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL OF NAPLES: Art Overcomes Waste

Container

Community High School of Naples issued the following announcement.

US art students created functional art with a purpose for the first quarter.  Students created custom designs that help cut down on environmental waste.  First, students designed masks using fabric paint and markers.  Then, students were asked to create a "time" themed canvas tote bag.  Students used their sketchbooks to draw images related to summertime activities, childhood moments and cartoons, memorable holidays and vacations, after-school activities, and sports.

Art students are now throwing away fewer disposable masks and plastic bags. Stay tuned for Quarter 2 Self-Portrait Paintings!
