Barron Collier High School issued the following announcement.
The start of the 2020-2021 school year is set for Monday, August 31st! We are so excited to see and interact with our students, whether they are joining us on campus or from their home in the virtual learning world.

Below are a few reminders that will help you and your child prepare for the first day of school.
FACIAL COVERING REQUIREMENT
Face coverings are required on buses and school campuses beginning on Monday, August 31st. If your student is attending school on campus, please ensure he/she has a face covering beginning on the first day. CCPS face coverings and safety glasses (highly recommended) will be distributed on the first day of school to provide each student with additional supplies. If you would like to receive these supplies ahead of the first day, please contact your child’s school.
Bandanas and masks with valves are not acceptable face coverings.

eCOLLIER ACADEMY/FLEXIBLE HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULING
All students must check in daily to each course via the Canvas LMS to be considered present for attendance purposes.
IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
No Shots - No School! All students must be up-to-date on all required immunizations BEFORE the first day of school.

WheresTheBus – SCHOOL BUS TRACKING APP
If your child will be riding the bus, please download our WheresTheBus™ mobile app prior to the first day of school to monitor the location of your child's bus. The app is free and will provide you with timely information about the location of your child’s bus, including when it will arrive at your child’s designated bus stop.

Visit the CCPS Portal TODAY to take care of back-to-school paperwork before the first day of school. You can also update your contact information so you are sure to receive important messages from the District and your school.

FAMILY ORGANIZATION STATION–CALENDAR
Be on the look out for our 2020-2021 CCPS Family Organization Station coming home the second week of school! This year, our calendar is filled with even more resources to support students and families with staying organized, practicing effective time management, and establishing routines and activities to promote learning beyond the school day.
