On Friday, March 14, former St. John Neumann Catholic High School standout Tye Phoenix’s current college team, the MIT Engineers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Montclair State Redhawks.
The game took place at Yogi Berra Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Redhawks this season.
The Engineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Yogi Berra Stadium against Penn State Harrisburg Lions.
