Greater Naples Chamber to host Youth Business Fair | Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Naples Chamber, in partnership with Collier County Public Schools, will host the 2023 Youth Business Fair on February 25, 2023, at Gulf Coast High School. This free event runs from 10-1 pm and is open to the public. Students in grades kindergarten through 12th are encouraged to register and sell the products or services they have created.
This one-day student business gathering is a great experience for students to ignite their entrepreneurial spirit and practice skills needed to be successful business owners. While participating, young entrepreneurs will build marketing strategies, sell products, and learn how the workforce drives the local economy.
“The youth today are the business innovators and leaders of the future. The Youth Business Fair gives students the opportunity to expand upon their entrepreneurial ideas and get a head start on promising business careers,” said Danielle O’Conner, Director of Talent Initiatives at Greater Naples Chamber.
All participants will be entered into the three following award competitions:
most original idea
highest business potential
most creative presentation
Students are 100% responsible for the setup, sales and customer interactions, and parents seen selling or promoting their child’s product results in disqualification.
Judging is open to attendees. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place representing the elementary, middle, and high school levels will be awarded. Sunshine ACE Hardware is sponsoring the event for another year with the grand prize of the Sunshine Award - the opportunity to sell their products in store!
