The Art Council of Southwest Florida (ACSWF) wishes to remind you of our official ribbon cutting ceremony of the COCO Art Gallery at the Coastland Center in Naples on November 16th from 5-7 PM. This event will be co-hosted by the Naples Chamber of Commerce.
Scott Brown, Gallery Director, offered the following about the event, “Our volunteers spent the last year tirelessly working to establish the gallery as a go-to place for original artwork in Naples. During the past year, we grew our artist base by 40%, signed on two new Naples based art associations, held monthly receptions for our customers and hosted a very successful member juried/judged summer show. We are now ready to move on to the next phase, which will largely involve our marketing efforts to locals and visitors to the area. Having just renewed our lease for our space, we are feeling very optimistic about the next year. The ribbon cutting signifies our commitment to the local artists and artisans of southwest Florida.”
This event is expected to attract several local dignitaries, the local press, business partners, customers and local artists. The evening will include the unveiling of new artwork and artists, live music, light bites, wine, soft drinks, and prizes. There will be no admission charge.
The gallery is located in the Coastland Center near Macy’s. Entrance #8 is the closest entry point and covered parking is available.
