Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, November 1

VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY

November 1, 2022

As designated on the 2022-23 Academic Calendar, November 1 and December 1 are Virtual Learning Days.  These days are only available for high performing school districts for the purpose of providing periodic opportunities for students to engage in virtual instruction (Senate Bill 1028).   Virtual Learning Days build students’ abilities to engage in virtual instruction and ensure instructional continuity in the event of an emergency school closure, e.g., weather.  Additionally, Virtual Learning Days hone important college preparation and digital career ready skills.

Students will be expected to complete their assignments for the day in Canvas. Students will be able to begin the assignments beginning at 4:00 pm on October 30 and will need to complete assignments by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 1.  Teachers will take attendance for November 1 based on student participation for each of their courses in Canvas.
