STARability Foundation relocates to new expanded location

Effective Nov. 1, STARability Foundation will have a larger program and office space at 720 Goodlette-Frank Rd. N., Suite 400 located in the Advance Medical building in Naples.

“We are excited about relocating as this new space is a symbol of the continued growth we’ve seen throughout our organization. Our new facility is double the size of our current location and will allow us the opportunity to serve more STAR participants on the waiting list for our innovative, engaging programs,” said Karen Govern, CEO of STARability Foundation. “This move would not be possible without the support of our STARs, their families, community partners and donors. We truly appreciate their continued belief in our mission.”

For nearly four decades, STARability Foundation has been shining a light on abilities, not disabilities. Formed by a small community of caring parents, STARability has become one of Southwest Florida’s leading nonprofits. Today, the organization is opening a world of possibilities for hundreds of individuals ages 14 and older by offering a variety of inclusive programs focused on vocational training, continuing education, teamwork, social engagement and community involvement. Their compassionate team supports people with disabilities by providing life-transforming opportunities that emphasize teamwork and a connection to the community while strengthening awareness and respect for individual abilities.
