We are #CCPSProud to announce 11 of our seniors have been selected as semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. These talented students have the opportunity to compete for 7,250 National Merit Scholarships valued at nearly $28 million. High school juniors entered the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which initially screens program applicants. To provide a boost to our students, all 8th, 9th, and 10th grade CCPS students take the PSAT in the fall. Student PSAT scores help schools generate rosters of students who are likely to be successful in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Congratulations to the following:
