Sunshine Ace Hardware among ‘Best Places to Work

1

Sunshine Ace Hardware was named among the Best Places to Work in Southwest Florida through a research-driven program that recognizes companies for excellence in the workplace.

Best Companies Group first reviewed Sunshine Ace’s company practices, programs and benefits, then conducted an extensive survey that collected employees’ input and perspectives about leadership, culture, job satisfaction, relationships, development opportunities, pay and other areas. Companies must meet certain criteria to earn the Best Places to Work designation.

“Putting people over profit and living our core values has been a central focus of our company since its founding in 1958,” said Sunshine Ace President Michael Wynn. “Creating a purposeful culture that puts our team first and provides a caring, supportive and collaborative work environment has always been important to our family. Seeing the warm smiles on the faces of our associates every day speaks volumes, as does the longtime tenure of so many of our associates.”

Based in Naples, Sunshine Ace is one of Florida’s largest family-owned home improvement retailers and operates nine locations in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Pinellas counties, as well as two Crowder Bros. Ace stores in Manatee County. The company is building a 12th store at Founders Square on the corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard in North Naples. In 2022, the company launched Sunshine Ace Handyman Services which allows customers to hire reliable, experienced craftsmen to come to their homes to assist with completing their projects.

Best Places to Work in Southwest Florida is sponsored by Gulfshore Business.
