Affordable Housing Advisory Committee Immediately Followed by the Housing Trust Fund Subcommittee

Collier County issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.

Notice is hereby given that the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, October 4, at 8:30 a.m. in the Human Resources Training Room located in Building B, 3303 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, Florida. This meeting will be immediately followed by the Housing Trust Fund Subcommittee meeting.

About the public meeting:

Two or more members of the Board of County Commissioners may be present and may participate at the meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future Board of County Commissioners meeting. Two or more members of the Collier County Planning Commission (CCPC) may be present and may participate at the meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be a future item for discussion and action at a future CCPC meeting.

Public Comment Period:

There will be a public comment period from September 29, 2021, through October 5, 2021, regarding the proposed substantial amendment for FY2019-2020 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan and a public comment period September 29, 2021 to October 29, 2021, regarding the proposed substantial amendment for FY2021-2022 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan for Collier County’s CDBG and HOME funded activities. During this period, citizens may send their comments on this matter to the Community and Human Services Division, ATTN: Jacob LaRow, 3339 Tamiami Trail East, Suite 213, Naples, FL 34112. The County will respond to all written comments in writing, within 15 days of receipt.

In addition, public comments will be accepted at the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee public hearing scheduled for Monday, October 4, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. in the Human Resources - Building B training room.

All interested parties are invited to attend, and to register to speak. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless changed by the chairman.

Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or other reasonable accommodations in order to participate in this proceeding, should contact the Collier County Facilities Management Division, located at 3335 Tamiami Trail E., Suite 101, Naples, Florida 34112, or (239) 252-8380, as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event. Such reasonable accommodations will be provided at no cost to the individual.
