Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 26.
The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is launching its annual Great Futures Start Here fundraising campaign at the Great Futures Grand Slam luncheon on Oct. 18.
The Grand Slam luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 18 at the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County’s Nichols campus in Naples. The luncheon is an enlightening social event that will celebrate the Boys & Girls Club’s Great Futures Start Here campaign.
“Every fall, this event sets the tone for our annual campaign, which is critically important in accomplishing our overall fundraising goal,” said Megan McCarthy Beauvais, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “The Great Futures campaign allows 100% of club members in Naples and Immokalee to receive partial or full scholarships so more children and teens can benefit from our programs.”
Boys & Girls Club programs focus on six core program areas: education, career development, character and leadership, health and wellness, the arts, and sports and recreation.
