COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL OF NAPLES: MS Student Council Election Results

Elec

Community High School of Naples issued the following announcement.

Elections took place last week for our 2020-21 MS Student Council. They began with eighth grade students running to be an officer: President, Vice President, Secretary, or Sergeant-at-Arms. They had to write a speech and then record themselves delivering the speech. The speeches were compiled in a video and played during advisory for the MS students. The speeches were personable, interesting, and showed confidence and poise. Congratulations to our new Student Council Officers:

  • President: Karl Grossman
  • Vice President: Sari Wasserman
  • Secretary: Sadie Lipman
  • Sergeant-at-Arms: Jack Felzer
Once the officers were elected, each advisory was given the task of selecting two advisory representatives.  These representatives will meet with the Student Council officers and communicate events and information to their advisory. Students who wanted to run had to give a speech explaining why they wanted to be a representative. After that, the advisory voted.  Congratulations to the following representatives:

Sixth grade: Maille Barone-Duffy, Connor Elliott, Rachel Saks, MJ Solomon, Emmey Siek, Schyler Scott, and Georgina Wilson

Seventh grade: Mimi Goldberg, Alejandro Guerra, DJ Duque, George Haseotes, Jacob Roth, Henry Heth, Herman Kaufman, Toby Kopecny, Sean McNamara, Jonah Miller, Cutter Smith, and Sophia Yurko

Eighth grade: Dylan Baer, Townsend Blabey, Curtis Carter, Cole Dickson, Robert Doran, Megan D'Souza, Melita D'Souza, Emma Gladstein, Howard Gleason, JD Scoular, Miles Smith, Nadia Sondrini, George Venetis, Ana Vlad, Cal Wyatt, and Charlie Youngs (not pictured)
