25.5% unemployed in Golden Gate in 2018

25.5 percent of Golden Gate residents between 16 and 65 years old were unemployed in 2018, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The percentage of unemployed residents was less than the statewide total of 41.3 percent for this demographic group. In 2018 the total Golden Gate population reached 22,938.

Out of 17,079 people who had a job, 17 were employed in the Armed Forces and 17,062 belonged to the civilian labor force.
