On Saturday, April 19, former St. John Neumann Catholic High School standout Tye Phoenix’s current college team, the MIT Engineers, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Coast Guard Bears.
The game took place at Nitchman Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.
The Engineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Fran O’Brien Field against Emerson Lions.
