On Friday, March 7, former St. John Neumann Catholic High School standout Tye Phoenix’s current college team, the MIT Engineers, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Chapman Panthers.
The game took place at W.O. Hart Park. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Engineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Alumni Field against Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens.
