Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to emphasize the importance of election integrity and to extend well wishes to Floridians participating in the 2026 Olympics.
On February 6, 2026, Donalds posted on X: “Election integrity MATTERS. Voter-ID is COMMON SENSE. It’s time to PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT https://t.co/zrlsa65cIa”.
Shortly after, he congratulated several athletes from Florida heading to the Olympics with a post: “Best of luck to the Floridians, @FlaPanthers, and @TBLightning who will be representing our nation on the world stage at the 2026 @Olympics! Continuing his advocacy for legislative changes related to elections, Donalds wrote on February 7, 2026: “1—Eliminate the filibuster 2—Pass the Save America Act 3—Ensure election integrity THIS IS THE WAY https://t.co/zYXCZXPfA7”.
Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th District in Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
