Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to acknowledge significant military and legislative events. On November 10, 2025, Donalds marked the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps with a message recognizing their legacy and service.

On November 13, he commented on recent congressional action regarding government funding: “JUST NOW: @HouseGOP PASSED the Senate Amendment to H.R. 5371 by a vote of 222-209 to reopen government. Byron Donalds has been serving as a member of Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in January 2021 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 through 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
