Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on October 13, 2025, regarding a recent agreement he described as historic and related to peace in the Middle East.
In his first post at 11:58 a.m. UTC, Donalds wrote: “After years of prayer. After years of advocacy. After years of tireless work. We’ve finally brought them all home. Thank you @POTUS @SecRubio @SteveWitkoff and all involved who made this historic agreement possible. May peace reign in the Middle East.”
A short time later, at 12:08 p.m., he added: “GOD BLESS THE PEACEMAKER “
At 1:14 p.m., Donalds shared a quote from television host Brian Kilmeade, stating: “.@kilmeade: ‘The President has done the impossible. He’s become the best friend of Israel & arguably one of the best friends of the Gulf States.’ The experts told us this wouldn’t happen. They told us appeasement was the only way. They were wrong. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH WORKS.”
Byron Donalds has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Francis Rooney and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn, New York City in 1978, Donalds currently resides in Naples and holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
