On July 18, 2025, Donalds wrote: “For years, Democrats waged war on crypto. Now is the time for Republicans to decisively end this war. Yesterday, the House passed H.R. 3633 – ‘The CLARITY Act’ and S. 1582 – ‘The GENIUS Act’ to ensure there’s a clear framework for the proliferation of digital assets in America.” The passage of these bills marks a significant step toward establishing regulatory clarity for digital currencies and blockchain technologies.
Later that day, Donalds addressed the results of the November 2024 elections and their implications for legislative priorities: “On November 5, 2024, the American people sent a message to the world. They gave us a historic mandate to implement @POTUS’s America First Agenda INTO LAW. ‘The One Big Beautiful Bill’ is a once-in-a-generation legislative win for the American people & allows us to do just that.”
On July 19, he turned attention to energy policy and climate action under previous administrations: “Over the past four years, debilitating Biden-Harris climate policy dismantled American energy production and critical minerals development. Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th District in Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021; prior to his congressional service he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 through 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
