On July 20, Donalds posted a message welcoming new members to the country: “This is how it’s done. Welcome to our proud American family!” (July 20, 2025).
Later that day, he reflected on recent developments under current leadership: “6 months of putting America first. 6 months of economic revival. 6 months of energy dominance. 6 months of peace through strength. 6 months of reclaiming sovereignty. 6 months of slashing waste. 6 months of winning. We are Making America Great Again and THE BEST IS YET TO COME” (July 20, 2025).

Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th District in Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
