Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on November 17, 2025, addressing concerns about unaccompanied migrant children and recent recovery efforts.

In a tweet from that evening, Donalds stated: “They told you Republicans were evil while Biden-Harris placed 450,000+ unaccompanied migrant children with unvetted sponsors–—many of whom were sex traffickers, gang members, and abusers. Under @POTUS, we have already located 24,000+ of those children. We must FIND THEM ALL.” (posted November 17, 2025).

Later the same day, he shared an update regarding law enforcement efforts: “This is incredible news! 122 children ranging in age from 23 months to 17 years old have been located or recovered across 10 states including Florida. Thank you to @FBI @FBIDirectorKash @FBIDDBongino @FBIJacksonville and all who made this possible.” (posted November 17, 2025).

Donalds also posted a brief message: “THE PRESIDENT OF PEACE” (posted November 17, 2025).

Byron Donalds has served as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 19th District since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples at age 44, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
