Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates this week about his recent community engagement efforts and ongoing opportunities for local students.
On August 20, Donalds posted about a charitable event in Fort Myers: “It was an honor to partner with members of the @CCLeeCounty, the @Popeyes Foundation, Popeyes franchisees, and local leaders in Fort Myers. Together, we provided food and essentials to over 400 families in need. Thank you to everyone who stopped-by and joined us in this effort.” He further emphasized the significance of community involvement later that day, stating “What really matters is putting the AMERICAN PEOPLE FIRST. It’s standing up for your community. It’s neighbor helping neighbor. It’s generosity and kindness. Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday in Fort Myers to help provide food and essentials to 400 families in need.”
On August 22, Donalds turned his attention to educational opportunities for young constituents: “ATTENTION SWFL My office is currently accepting Service Academy Nomination Applications for FL-19 constituents.
