On July 1, 2025, Donalds highlighted the implementation of the America First Agenda, focusing on immigration enforcement. He stated that “On 11/5, the American people granted us a mandate to implement @POTUS’s America First Agenda, which includes the arrest, detention, & deportation of criminal illegal aliens.” He also mentioned visiting the “Alligator Alcatraz” facility in Ochopee as part of these efforts.

Later that day, Donalds praised the rapid construction of “Alligator Alcatraz,” calling it “a logistical marvel that was built in just eight days.” He emphasized Florida’s commitment to law and order and advocated for passing legislation to secure funding for immigration enforcement initiatives.

On July 2, 2025, Congressman Donalds expressed gratitude towards Pratt & Whitney West Palm Beach for their contributions to national defense. He tweeted his appreciation for their work and described discussions on military advancements: “Thank you to the leadership & staff of @prattandwhitney West Palm Beach for your work on behalf of our nation’s defense.”

Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th District since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, he is an alumnus of both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
