Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to advocate for legislative and political actions concerning national security and government procedures.

On March 10, 2026, Donalds called for the passage of a new piece of legislation, stating: “PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT https://t.co/0UEKp9Civ5”. Later that same day, he outlined several steps he believes are necessary to address current issues: “1—Prosecute this criminal. 2—Eliminate the filibuster. 3—Pass “The SAVE America Act.” 4—Ensure this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. https://t.co/KqMdk8xbqj”.

Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th District in Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021. Before joining Congress, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn, New York City in 1978 and currently residing in Naples at age 44, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
