Donalds also commented on recent changes in prescription drug pricing: “BIG NEWS: ‘Drugmakers are..slashing prices for several widely used medicines..20 brand-name drugs had list-price cuts this month ranging from 9.8% to 91.7%’ This is a huge win for Floridians. Byron Donalds has served as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 19th district since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
