Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on September 8, 2025, addressing issues ranging from White House pardons to state tax holidays and immigration enforcement.
In a post published at 14:01 UTC, Donalds highlighted concerns about presidential pardons under President Joe Biden. He wrote, “ICYMI: An internal White House memo shows Biden’s OWN STAFF believed he should be physically signing pardons. Joe Biden pardoned over 4200 people. How many did he even know about? This is beyond wrong. This is why we’re investigating. The American people deserve ACCOUNTABILITY.”
Later that day at 17:27 UTC, Donalds informed constituents about a new state initiative with the message: “ATTENTION FLORIDA RESIDENTS Beginning TODAY and lasting through 12/31, The State of Florida has announced its ‘2025 Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday’ on select items. For additional info on qualifying items, please visit https://t.co/whjyXUfRef or see below”
At 19:47 UTC the same day, Donalds commented on immigration enforcement by stating: “No matter how big or small, @ICEgov will answer the call. It’s time to deport this criminal illegal alien out of our country. Join ICE today: https://t.co/s5fnkwiY65”
