Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on September 15, 2025, addressing issues ranging from socialism and anti-Semitism to corporate governance and political accountability.
In a post made at 18:27 UTC, Donalds stated: “Socialism fails every time it’s tried
Government grocery stores don’t work
Anti-Semitism has no place in our nation
The phrase ‘Globalize the Intifada’ must be condemned outright
This is common sense.
We must stand for what’s right.”
Later that day at 19:58 UTC, he commented on corporate influence by left-wing activists: “Left-wing activists are hijacking companies to push their nefarious, radical politics.
They flood the zone with far-left proposals.
They dupe shareholders into voting for them.
They couldn’t care less about the bottom line.
American companies must wake up before it’s too late.”
At 21:40 UTC, Donalds encouraged standing firm amid criticism: “When they question your policies.
When they question your motives.
When they question your morality.
STAND FIRM.
STAND FOR YOUR BELIEFS.
DEFEND YOUR CLAIMS WITH FACTS.
We are putting the American people first.
We are working to eliminate waste/fraud/abuse.
We are in the right.”
Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th district since 2021 after succeeding Francis Rooney. Before his congressional tenure, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
