Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of statements on November 19, 2025, addressing military defiance, immigration policy, and educational standards.

In his first post of the day at 17:01 UTC, Donalds criticized certain actions within Congress by stating: “Sitting members of Congress are openly calling for military defiance. This is UNACCEPTABLE This is DANGEROUS This is UNCONSTITUTIONAL”.

Later that evening at 21:18 UTC, he addressed immigration and labor policies with the statement: “Deport illegal aliens. End the H-1B program. Prioritize the American people. This is the way.”

At 23:09 UTC on the same day, Donalds commented on educational assessment standards, referencing legislation he supports: “Created in 2015, the Classical Learning Test assesses reading, writing, & math skills using classical texts from the Western canon. I proudly support HR 5968 – ‘Classical Learning Act’ to ensure federally-run schools accept the CLT. @FoxNews exclusive:”

Byron Donalds has served as a member of Congress since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. He was born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently resides in Naples. Donalds holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
