Congressman Byron Donalds, representing Florida’s 19th district, shared a series of tweets addressing issues ranging from immigration to political investigations. Donalds, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after succeeding Francis Rooney, often speaks on matters of national security and governance.

On July 9, 2025, Congressman Donalds expressed his concerns about a recent incident involving an illegal immigrant. He stated: “On July 4th, a Honduran illegal alien killed an innocent, 19 y/o woman in Hillsborough County.” He further criticized the presence of such individuals in the country and referenced recent legislative efforts by saying, “There’s a reason we just passed the largest border security package in a generation.”

Later that same day, Donalds addressed what he described as a politically motivated dossier. He wrote: “The Dossier was a gross political smear, pushed by top Democrats…” Emphasizing the divisive impact it had on the nation and calling for accountability through ongoing investigations like those involving Comey and Brennan.

On July 10, Donalds commented on another matter of concern regarding alleged presidential misconduct. His tweet read: “This was the biggest presidential cover-up in American history.” He questioned Dr. Kevin O’Connor’s involvement in this purported scandal and hinted at undisclosed information.

Byron Donalds was born in Brooklyn but now resides in Naples. He has academic credentials from Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
