Congressman Byron Donalds, who represents Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on September 25, 2025, addressing education policy, border security, and criticisms of former FBI Director James Comey.

In his first post of the day, Donalds expressed gratitude to visiting students and leaders from Southwest Florida Christian Academy: “Thank you to the students & leadership from Southwest Florida Christian Academy for joining us last week in Washington. For too-long, children have fallen victim to our ineffective public school system. Simply put: Every parent deserves a choice & every child deserves a chance.” (September 25, 2025).

Later that evening, Donalds posted a brief statement regarding border security: “The wall just got 30 feet higher “ (September 25, 2025).

In his final post of the night, Donalds criticized James Comey’s tenure as FBI Director and thanked former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for her efforts: “James Comey wrongly wielded weaponized bureaucracy and lawfare to derail a duly elected President. All for politics. His tenure was a stain on the history of our nation. Thank you @AGPamBondi for working to hold this bad actor accountable. The American people deserve justice.” (September 25, 2025).

Byron Donalds has represented Florida’s 19th congressional district since replacing Francis Rooney in 2021 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born in Brooklyn in 1978 and currently residing in Naples, he holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
