Congressman Byron Donalds, who has represented Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, recently shared several statements on social media addressing national political developments, higher education, and a natural disaster.

On July 14, 2025, Donalds commented on reports regarding presidential pardons, stating: “BREAKING: @JoeBiden admits he never personally signed-off on autopen pardons written in his name. If true, they should be IMMEDIATELY INVALIDATED. This is the biggest scandal in US history. These staffers must be held accountable. This cannot happen again. And WE NEED ANSWERS.”

The following day, July 15, 2025, Donalds expressed appreciation for an educational leader’s visit to Washington D.C., writing: “Thank you to @PresMcCullough for joining us today in our nation’s capital. @FloridaState continues to set the bar for higher education in the Sunshine State and across the nation. Today and every day, I am proud to be a Seminole!”

Later that same day, Donalds addressed a recent natural disaster affecting Texas residents by posting: “God bless the people of Central Texas. Our prayers are with all involved in the tragic flooding along the Guadalupe River.”

Byron Donalds was born in Brooklyn, New York City in 1978 and currently resides in Naples. He holds degrees from both Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
